Abu Dhabi gets 80% of its power from clean energy sources.

According to the Emirates Water and Electricity Company (EWEC), which supplies water and electricity in Abu Dhabi.

The UAE's foreign trade hits $599 billion in 2022, up by 17% year on year. The UAE aims to double the size of its economy by 2031.

For the first time, the UAE entered the TOP 10 influential countries in the world according to the Global Soft Power Index 2023.(News UAE)

The index is compiled by research and analysis firm Brand Finance and measures soft power – a country's ability to exert influence over others by attraction rather than force.

 

The countries with the most soft power were:

1. USA

2. United Kingdom

3. Germany
